I know I'm not the only person with a major aversion to Jell-o as a food product. I mean, BLECH!!!!! It's gelatinous. You can't really chew it nor drink it. It's made from scary animal parts. And Jello salads?!?! WTF.
I will admit that it has plenty of redeeming artistic/kitsch/sports value, which many have paid tribute to around the web....
Anyone have some good Jell-o stories to share? Who wants to defend the gag-tacular stuff?

my mom used to make avocado jello. yeah, sounds gross, but it is delicious! mmmm! :)
